We are pleased to share with you that Team VTech’s Karen Stupples aka “Stups” pulled off a brilliant win this past Sunday at Royal St. David’s Golf Club in Harlech, North Wales. Karen held off Amy Yang by one stroke with a final -12 to secure her 3rd victory as a Professional ( Karen won the British Open in 2004 and The Welch’s/Fry’s Tuscon Open in 2004 ). Katherine Hull finished 3rd at -9.
Becky “Boots” Morgan also had a strong tourney finishing tied for 18th. The field was full of greats from both sides of the pond and we couldn’t be happier for Stups. She has had a very challenging year as you may have read from earlier entries here and this victory was well deserved and should bode well for what’s in store for the rest of the season.
Congrats from all your family here at VTech! We can’t wait to see the entire team here in Portland in a few weeks for the Safeway Classic at Pumpkin Ridge GC.
